TxSt LBJ Student Center Renovations – ASI 16

Description:

Vaughn Construction is requesting proposals for the LBJ Student Center Renovations – ASI 16 at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
ASI 16 is related to the replacement of the current light fixtures with LED fixtures with a lighting control system. The ceiling grid is to be removed and then replaced with new grid, basis of design is Cortega Square Lay-in. All the fire alarm devices and communications devices will need to be removed and then re-installed after the new ceiling grid is installed. (The removal and reinstallation of fire alarm and communications devices shall be included under the Electrical Scope of work.) Return air grilles will be added to the new rooms. (Pending Addendum). Reference specification section 23 3713 of the current documents.

Alternate 1: 
Provide cost to install new ceiling grid in all rooms where lights are being replaced.

General Works, Selective Demolition, Acoustical Ceilings, Heating Ventilating and Air-Conditioning, and Electrical (Including Fire Alarm).
